God's Existence and the Reality of Our Lives

A non muslim once posed the following questions:

What proof is the proof for the existence of God?

My Reply:
Let discuss this most fundamental question that humanity has i.e. the existence of God based on logic and realities of our life. Each person clearly knows by witnessing his own existence that we humans are different than any species found on the face of the earth. We have been blessed with intelligence that lets us differentiate between what is good and bad for us and could choose a path that may be more beneficial to us during our existence. This superior capability of us humans most definitely surpasses all the other species in the Animal Kingdom whose senses are limited to an extent of their mere survival. We humans can learn from our experiences and apply our past learning to our future decisions in order to gather the benefits for ourselves. Our decisions can have good or bad consequences for a small or large group of people, depending on our standing in the society. This makes our species special and hence makes us responsible or accountable for the choices that we make. A part from religion, humans have ethical and moral behavior embedded in them in one form or another. A person who doesn’t believe in religion still knows and appreciates the fruits of truthfulness, honesty and selfless attitude of individuals in any given society. When people come across extreme circumstances, many of them who don't believe in God, tend to ask help from a supreme being. These behavior are built-in as the constituent of the human nature and no matter how much one tries to hide them, they will always remain integral part of his existence. If we only thinks logically about our existence, we will surely come to a conclusion that there has to be more to our existence than simply following a certain routine in our average live cycle of 50-70 years before we die and buried under the ground, leaving behind everything that we earned and made effort for during our lives.

Being a superior being having the sense of morality and selflessness, we have to have to some higher objective on this earth instead of just wasting our lives in pursuing our lust and desires and accumulating material gains. We don’t even know for sure if we would still be alive the next moment of our existence and yet we make plans like we are to remain on this earth forever. You may have come across several people in your life time that have left this world at a very young age and didn’t get to accomplish their life long dreams, yet we don’t get some time out of our daily routine to ponder on this fact that sooner or later we will have to join them. Is our life on this earth really worthy of being spent on our lustful desires which may bring temporary pleasures to us in this life but in the end leave nothing for us to carry along when we depart? Do you think that our existence is a mere co-incidence and that certain combination of probabilities caused us to think, communicate, build, invent, explore, decide, orgnanize and co-exist?

Science can’t even justify the existence of one human cell having such a perfect and complex mechanism let alone the entire human existence comprising of billions of those cells along with so many complex organs like brain, ear, eyes etc. The theory of evolution is an obselete theory that could never become a law since it is full of errors, inconsistencies and made up facts which have been repeatedly refuted over and over again by thousands of scientist all around the globe. Yet people who have made their mind for not believing in God due to their own agendas or biases keep on pushing these deceiving ideas to common people and make them appear like scientific facts but when confronted with real experts in the field, they have nothing to prove and hence try to hide their guilt and falsehood with further made up lies.

The existence of God has always been an integral part of human history since the very beginning. Historically, every nation had followed some kind of concept of God. Humans have always turned to a supreme being to ask help during their miseries. Arnold Toynbee studied the history of man through the ages and put his findings in a monumental work consisting of ten volumes. He summarized that in the history of man, religion stood as the center. In an article in The Observer on October 24, 1954 he wrote:

“I have come back to the belief that religion holds the key to the mystery of existence”.

The creator is just one and hence there is a similarities in the design of His creation to give us the sign of His existence. Allah(SWT) can do whatever He wills but for us humans, He has made a stable set of laws in the entire universe based on His own will and wisdom. From time to time, however, Allah(SWT) has broken these laws of physics for his messengers to present their miracles to the people as His clear sign. Human intellect can't comprehend the existence of God since God exists beyond our time and space. People think in terms of the limitation of this unvierse due to their lack of vision beyond that, but everything that belongs to this universe was created at first from nothing-ness and can be destroyed to nothing-ness. The God is the only being who has the ability to do so but for most materialist that is not a possibility since they are stuck forever in their self-imposed ideology. The scriptures of God have been revealed to the people since the very beginning of human existence but many people in their arrogance and closemindedness, rejected and changed those teachings over the period of human history. The knowledge that West has acquired is only the material knowledge which has come to its new heights just recently since people in earlier times lacked the ability to confirm those theories beyond doubt. The proven facts although will remain intact in the coming years but there will always be newer facts that would come out unknown to us today. Quran has claimed 1400 years ago earth was round, moon had the reflected light and the sun has its own light and both rotates on their fixed path so that knowledge was actually known among muslims since then but it was proven beyond doubt just recently using the powerful equipment.

The existence of God could be witnessed with the acquired knowledge along with the power and wisdom of everything that we see or not see. The real existence of God is beyond the intellect of human but His signs are all around us and any person with any amount of intellect can easily recognize them provided he is willing to do so. Our complex existence is not a mere coincidence and all inconclusive theories that evolutionists deceptively present against the existence of God have been scientifically refuted.

Perfection is in the creation of everything in this universe including our own creation as a whole. This phenomenon is something that lets each creation to function in the manner that Allah(SWT) wanted it to. If these things were created as a result of mere conicidences then our world would have been destroyed long time back and our own existence wouldn't allow us to peforms things and think independantly and wisely the way we could. Human beings are the best of the creation of God since they are the only ones (along with jinns) with free will while everything else follows the rules and laws of God without having the ability to go against it. This world is nothing but a testing place for us all and hence we will be continuously tested in various scenarios and criterias and ultimately reach to our end. Our depart from this earth takes us to the hereafter where we are presented with the outcome of our wordly test and then will begin the continuation of our eternal life. Our soul is immortal but our wordly existence is not. The needs and desires are to be controlled in this world based on the divine guidance since they are among the most important aspects of our test. These limitless desires and needs that are embedded in us are present in us because of the eternal existence of our soul and will be fulfilled in the eternal life of hereafter if we are successful.
